Mill Lane Pumping Station

The project is now fully commissioned and fine adjustments made recently when the river was at high level. Many thanks to Jim Grayson and his team at DC Jointing who were the main contractor for the project.

Note: On the side of the green cabinet there is a yellow alarm beacon. If this is lit it means there is a faulty pump or high level. Please report this if possible or any queries please contact: Martin Farrar 07393419027

Community Emergency Plan (CEP)

The PC has been working with North Yorkshire Council - Community Resiliance to update the CEP. This documents how the PC and village will respond during an emergency incident. It is lodged with NYC to help them and Blue Light Services understand our requirements in the event of any emergency incident. It has been updated to include properties known to become isolated during severe flooding. A copy can be found here.
